Jeffrey H. Widmeyer, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Jeffrey H. Widmeyer grew up in nearby Roanoke, Virginia and
graduated from the University of Virginia College of Arts and Sciences
in 1987. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia Medical
School in 1991, where he also completed his residency in general
surgery in 1996. Dr. Widmeyer then completed a fellowship in vascular
surgery in 1997. After a year in private practice in Richmond, Dr.
Widmeyer relocated to Lynchburg to join Seven Hills Surgical Associates.
In 2001, he founded the Virginia Vein Center to advance the care
of vein disorders to a new level in Central Virginia. In 2005, the
Virginia Vein Center became Vein & Cosmetic Solutions, reflecting
the practice’s expanded scope of services.
Dr. Widmeyer is board certified in general surgery and has a certificate
of added qualification in vascular surgery. Since arriving in Lynchburg,
Dr. Widmeyer has brought several state-of-the-art vascular techniques
to the area (including endovascular aneurysm repair and endovenous
laser treatment of varicose veins), and has served as instructor
in these procedures for other physicians around the country.
Vein & Cosmetic Solutions provides state-of-the-art diagnostic
evaluation and minimally invasive treatment of vein disorders ranging
from the smallest spider veins to the largest, most severe varicose
veins.
